PSU fraternitys menorah stolen twice, vandalized ahead of Hanukkah
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Pennsylvania State University condemned an act of vandalism at a fraternity house. Officials say a menorah was vandalized at the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity house, a Jewish fraternity, on Thursday.
State College police continue to investigate. Now the search is on for who is behind it.
According to police, the menorah was stolen again Saturday night and later returned. The second time, it wasn't damaged.
So far, officials say no suspects have been identified.
Two flown following crash on Route 22, near Ebensburg Airport
Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities say two people were seriously injured Wednesday afternoon following a crash on Route 22 in Cambria County.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash, which officials say occurred around 3 p.m., in the area of Pensacola Road, near the Ebensburg Airport.
Officials say both victims were flown from the scene and their conditions are unclear at this time.
Authorities say the crash briefly disrupted traffic in the area, but the roadway has since reopened.
Two students dead after fatal fire in Lancaster City
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Another victim has been claimed in the deadly fire from Saturday, in what officials are ruling as an unfortunate accident.

According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Fire, 13-year-old Ariana Leavitt was killed in the fire along with 18-year-old Anna Leavitt.
In a statement from Superintendent Matthew Pryzwara of the School District of Lancaster, Ariana was an eight grader at Reynolds Middle School while Anna was a senior at McCaskey Campus.
'Touching their food & their children,' deputies say
SORRENTO, Fla. (TND) — It was more like dirty dining than fine dining when a restaurant employee told the sheriff's office she was pushed, and the woman who did it left the scene.
“The restaurant has had ongoing issues with the” woman named Debbie, a deputy in Florida wrote in the arrest report on Sunday, May 12.
“Debbie is constantly coming into the store and harassing the customers, including touching their food,” the report continued.
Columbia University cancels commencement ceremonies after weeks of protests
NEW YORK (TND) — Columbia University announced it is canceling its commencement ceremonies as pro-Palestinian protests continue.
The university-wide ceremony was scheduled for May 15.
The decision comes after weeks of protests on campus that escalated and feedback from student leaders, according to school officials.
Classes for college students have been disrupted as anti-Israel protesters chanted and took over a building on campus.
Our students emphasized that these smaller-scale, school-based celebrations are most meaningful to them and their families.
Johnstown War Memorial receives $55K grant to upgrade its seating
Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Local state Rep. Frank Burns announced that the 1st Summit Arena at the Cambria County War Memorial will be receiving over $55,000 in state funding to upgrade its seating inside the arena.

Meet Kobe! 4-year-old Husky being rewarded for detecting gas leak at PA home
PHILADELPHIA (CNN) — One dog in Philadelphia is being rewarded for preventing what could have been an explosive situation.
Kobe is a four-year-old husky.
Last month, his owner, Channel Bell, noticed he was digging a hole in the yard which he has never done before.
Then a week later, he started digging in the same place.
Bell checked it out with a gas detection device and realized he was smelling a low-pressure gas leak.
Ribbon cutting held for opening of new business facility in Bedford Co.
A ribbon cutting in Bedford County happened Friday morning for a new building that will provide space to new and expanding businesses.
State and local officials joined the Bedford County Development Association for the opening of the 24,000 square foot multi-tenant building and new home to the anchor tenant, Cell-Con Inc.
The investment into the building was $6 million and will not only provide space for businesses but will also help economic growth and job creation in Bedford County.
SFU's Villarrial looks forward to 2020 season

We'll interview coaches in our viewing area, and air the best parts of the conversations.
The first edition of the segment starts with St. Francis head football coach Chris Villarrial.
Villarrial is entering his 11th season as head coach of the Red Flash. He's the most successful coach in program history. SFU won its only NEC championship in 2016, with Villarrial at the helm.
Local Chinese restaurant doesn't deliver in bad weather
Westmont, PA — If you're like most people when snow and ice hit the area, you stay curled up at home ordering in pizza or Chinese, hoping they deliver in the bad weather.
"They said that the roads with the freezing rain just wasn't safe for us to keep going out, so they decided not to deliver anymore,” says Peking Place employee Stephanie Miles.
At Peking Place in Westmont, it's usually just owner Charlie Sheen and his wife making the deliveries.
